Question 1

How far is a Sturgeon County acreage from St. Albert?

Accepted Answer

Sturgeon County surrounds St. Albert on several sides, so many acreages are a short drive from the city. Drive times vary by property, so test the route at the hours you would travel.

We recommend it. A flow-rate test and a water quality test are commonly made conditions of an acreage offer.

Question 3

Can I get a mortgage on an acreage?

Accepted Answer

Often yes, but lender requirements can differ from a city home depending on the land and services. Speak with a mortgage professional before you write an offer.

Question 4

Accepted Answer

By comparing recent acreage sales and adjusting for land size, buildings, water, septic, access and location. Our SmartValue™ review includes acreage factors and is personally reviewed by Bonni or Shauna.
